louisiana bankruptcy records
I have had several cases where my clients asked for and were granted supervised visitations. This type of visitation has its pitfalls since there are no regulation for supervised visitation in Louisiana and also for louisiana bankruptcy. First, you have to determine who will supervise the visits. Family members often do not want to supervise the parent, and supervision by the other party usually never works. You can ask the court to appoint a supervisor, but this is costly and is usually not what you expect. Supervisors are supposed to be neutral, oversee the offending parent, and make recommendations to the court about future custody.
One problem my clients face is that these supervisors are often not neutral, freely allow the parent to leave the facility, and try to manipulate the children (constant crying over having to visit the children with a moderator, asking where the other parent goes at night and who she/he is seeing, telling them this is the other parent’s fault). Supervised visitation is something you should discuss with your experienced family lawyer. Make sure to find out other client’s experiences with the moderator. Is he/she biased?
