Google Caffeine- THe Next generation of search

September 7th, 2009 admin No comments

And for buying Facebook Friendfeed does not take all the attention Google has just releaed the next generation of its search engine key name: Caffeine and you can use this link and it will show all pure SEO-based site that will to have to rethink many things.

The results from one page to another are terribly different, if I use the famous test ego search we all love (look for her it must be the first thing you always do: P) I even conceptual differences between traditional form and its new version I see that until you pay attention to Twitter where there are “more recent online activity” but beating my own blog. That sounds ridiculous half.

Beyond that little detail … when we see the new version online? I do not think that soon but it is interesting that already has indexed more results than the previous version and, like it or not, that means that indexes more and knowing Google should do better;)

Tremble SEOs to work again:)

Google acquires reCAPTCHA

August 23rd, 2009 admin No comments

n one of the most interesting purchases recently did Google just acquired reCAPTCHA system that helps avoid comment spam or, more formally distinguish bots from humans through a “C ompletely A utomated P ublic T uring test to tell C and H Umans omputers apart and which is interesting because the architecture of two words is designed to help digitize books.

google recaptcha Google compra reCAPTCHA

And, obviously, that’s what Google wants for himself, buying a technology that proves its validity every day and has two uses: to prevent bots or spammer accounts opening services and, secondly, to automate and refine more and more your text digitizing technology … they urgently need to Google Books and Google News Search

Google Chrome Frame or prevent Internet Explorer

August 11th, 2009 admin No comments

Google recently launched Google Chrome Frame install a plugin for Internet Explorer that makes it quite simply, in a container of Google Chrome … or, the easiest way to avoid using IE if you can not uninstall it.

And it’s interesting to think of the strategy followed by Google and that is oriented to the heart of a niche of users who can not change by more than will; eg the business user can not install unauthorized software on the company, but that may simply , using a plug-in to avoid this problem ….

Page rendering speed and use of the HTML tags that Google is pushing with all his power (besides get us some Google Wave through the back door) … users find support from developers if they use a tag might give you real benefits in their services

And now with Chrome entering through the back door of IE6, IE7 and IE8 Microsoft Trouble improving its Firefox browser to compete against and / or Chrome? Because while playing with Chrome “HTML5 speed +” Firefox has the advantage of being unbeatable platform seriously and have extensions to what occurs to you:)

Google is its own greatest enemy

July 30th, 2009 admin No comments

The size and importance that Google did in the 11 years of existence did not manage any other company in history and over, when viewed as a startup friendly and good wave coming to order all information in the world says his mission, joined enormous social capital but the reality is that on that scale, Google is becoming its own biggest enemy for the simple fact that the rest of the competition, destroyed about real challenge raised.

And as the train stops and the company continues to grow every movement becomes more important to the ecosystem of Internet startups see how many each new Google service as a niche and unattainable and where they should retire? And daily life of us as novices or advanced users of the company in Mountain View Or imagine a day without using any Google service?.

In a sense, the phrase “dying of success” that applies to sites that are unable to respond to a giant traffic demand strong enough revenue to pay for the infrastructure they use, re-apply in this case but with analogies and in fact, I wonder:

How does Google continue to recruit A-People as it did until now? Seriously imagine that an organization of 20,000 people is so easy to find another 20,000 that are as bright as the first time, even the reward of entering in an enterprise procurement  needs for continued growth is the same?

As we continue to add publishers in its AdSense program and advertisers in its AdWords program seriously can you imagine the level of care is as good as it was one or two years ago? Or not there is some level of corporate mismanagement (up justified by its size)? ¿Se imaginan en serio que es tan simple como antes donde habia 2 o 3 niveles de servicio y listo? Can you imagine seriously that is as simple as before where there were 2 or 3 levels of service and ready?

A greater share Mercado search and greater use of search engines as a gateway to the Internet is greater reliance on ITS webmasters SEO standards “and expect people to trust you if you are indexing and showing results in own form and, thus, competing and generaerando doubts in the market about its transparency?

Because let’s not forget that today, Google is a black box where no one knows key things: Algorithms results; Percentages AdSense Indexing services within the results themselves to levels of caching and grazing areas gray.

Technology companies have a history of being their own towering enemies:

Internet – Microsoft has relied on corporate users and later discovered Internet

– Yahoo! Google raised, let it grow,  misused to bursting now completed its search engine in the hands of MSFT

AOL turned to be a media company and shit when they had helped millions of users in the U.S. believe that was the Internet.

AMD achieved some tremendous strides in processor until he devoted himself to legal battles and Intel (with a lot of money and resources) took the shot and ended ended marginalization depending on ATI.

Google is going to be an octopus to anyone wants to use its own weight or simply going to need more and more acquisitions to continue to demonstrate innovation?
