Google Translator for Skype users

Here comes a great news for the Skype users. Google introduces  a translator to translate almost all Languages used in Skype. Software so called Google Translator for Skype  allows you to translate in almost all the languages supported by Google Translator.

This plugin is very useful to all those who use Skype to communicate and write through its integrated chat in a language different from what commonly used. Don’t worry if u want to chat with a french man or german in skype.

Here is the solution. The plugin uses the API of Google Translate to perform the translation. though the translation is not very perfect, you can easily understand the phrase and what you are talking about, allowing you to establish communication between people speaking different languages. Google acquires reCAPTCHA

n one of the most interesting purchases recently did Google just acquired reCAPTCHA system that helps avoid comment spam or, more formally distinguish bots from humans through a “C ompletely A utomated P ublic T uring test to tell C and H Umans omputers apart and which is interesting because the architecture of two words is designed to help digitize books.

Microsoft helps users with help files(.hlp files)

Microsoft has released a utility for all the users who want to open driver files,  help files with extension HLP, which contain within themselves useful informations and guides for Windows 7.

Users who need to utilize this facility, has to must download WinHlp32.exe.  Check of genuineness of your OS before installing it as yours may be blacklisted for pirated software use. The application works good for  both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows 7.

Windows Help (WinHlp32.exe) is a program included in earlier versions of windows. But since Windows Vista, Microsoft has decided to make it separate from the operating system and which you have to download it manually.

NYC loves Web 2.0

NYC Big Apps is one of the most interesting initiatives that I saw in the mix that is web 2.0 and politics, basically the idea of New York City is available to any citizen the greatest possible amount of public data in the form of sets of data for any programmer or developer can create a web application or mobile “Make New York a city more transparent, accessible and accountable, a better place to live, work and play”

The reward? Besides helping the public to participate more simple or at least provide more services with data already available but not readily accessible, are a total of $ s20.000 in cash and a dinner with the mayor of the city, on the jury will be a mix of Internet luminaries as Fred Wilson or Esther Dyson and politics of that city as Paul Cosgrove.
